May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Let’s Talk About It.

To every woman juggling life, work, caregiving, and the weight of what feels like the world—this message is for you.

Mental health is not a luxury. It’s not something you “get to” when everything else is done. It is essential. It’s the steady rhythm beneath your caregiving, the quiet strength behind your leadership, and the oxygen mask you deserve before helping everyone else.

As caregivers, we often suffer in silence. We show up, push through, and carry on. But beneath the surface, exhaustion, grief, anxiety, and overwhelm can quietly build.

This month, I invite you to pause—and check in with YOU.

When was the last time you truly rested?

Have you spoken kindly to yourself lately?

Who pours into you the way you pour into others?

Mental Health Awareness Month is a powerful reminder that you matter too. Your emotional well-being deserves attention, care, and support.

Let’s end the stigma. Let’s normalize rest. Let’s reach out, speak up, and make space for healing.

You’re not alone. You are not weak for needing support. You are worthy of peace, joy, and mental clarity. Take the BOLD step and seek support.

Let’s protect our minds like we protect everyone else.

This May—and every day—choose YOU.
